Vertice G20 (Roma, 30-31 ottobre 2021) – Ripristino controlli frontiere interne Area Schengen
Il Ministero dell’Interno italiano ha comunicato che in occasione del
Vertice G20 2021 (Roma, 30-31 ottobre) saranno temporaneamente ripristinati i
controlli alle frontiere interne all’Area Schengen, presso i punti di ingresso
terrestri, aerei e marittimi italiani.
La sospensione del regime ordinario di libertà di movimento all’interno
dell’Area Schengen è attivata in applicazione dell’articolo 28 del Codice
Frontiere Schengen (Regolamento UE 2016/399 del 9 marzo 2016).
Il ripristino dei controlli in frontiera avverrà dalle ore 22.00 del 27
ottobre alle ore 13.00 del 1 novembre 2021. La misura potrà avere un impatto
significativo sui tempi di viaggio dei cittadini di Paesi terzi che facciano
ingresso in Area Schengen da un altro Stato membro per poi dirigersi in Italia.
G20 Summit (Rome, October 30-31, 2021) – Reintroduction of internal border controls Schengen Area
The Italian Ministry of the
Interior has announced that on the occasion of the G20 2021 Summit (Rome,
October 30-31) internal border controls will be temporarily reintroduced within
the Schengen Area at Italian land, air and sea entry points.
The suspension of the ordinary
regime of freedom of movement within the Schengen Area is introduced in
accordance with Article 28 of the Schengen Borders Code (EU Regulation 2016/399
of 9 March 2016).
The reintroduction of border
controls will take place from 10:00 p.m. on October 27 to 1:00 p.m. on November
1, 2021. The measure may have a significant impact on the travel time of
third-country nationals entering the Schengen Area from another Member State
and then heading to Italy.
